    Cool Summer Courses…

    Looking to take an elective class to earn credit toward graduation over the summer?  Well here are a couple of unique and interesting classes that you might want to take a look at:

    • CMMU 161Women’s Health Activism:  Examines concrete aspects of women’s health in social and political contexts, including such factors as environmental and occupational health, the role of race and nationality, diverse sexualities and health, American medical care systems, and international comparisons and organizing approaches. (Formerly course 148.) Instructor is Andrea Steiner. 5 credits.
    • DANM 134Hacking for Artists:  Hacking is the modification, reconfiguration, and reuse of computer code or hardware to create new functionality. Course encourages a hands-on approach to digital-media creation including the basics of computer programming and hacking techniques. No programming experience required. (Formerly course 31.) Instructor is N.P. Lally. 5 Credits. GE: PR-C.
